One of Very few restaurants in the area that cater to Locally Sourced and Sustainable Alberta Ingredients. The Simply designed space is filled with natural light during the day and at dinner the ambiance is sophisticated, yet relaxed. The menus and features change regularily, and that is just one of the many reasons that locals and tourists alike return time and again.

Features of this Gem of the City are; A noteworthy and west facing Patio, A small but well planned out wine list with some great varietals not seen everywhere, 16 draught beers, including 4 rotating craft options, and the best burgers in town, as voted by customers.

                                                                                                  Our experience at the Granary was excellent. The restaurant was quiet, the food was great the waitress and hostess staff were superb. We had the roughneck burger and a chicken avocado salad. Both were excellent with very good flavour. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

                                                                                                  Chicken Bellagio was utterly fantastic! Lobster Bruchetta also wonderful. The other guests found the Peri Peri Rice bowl very dry and tasteless, but 2 out of 3 meals very well done! And sticky toffee pudding divine!

                                                                                                  The serving time took so long. The ranch dip is a bit expensive for $2 dollars each. The chicken also tasted like it’s burnt.

                                                                                                  We had a family brunch at The Granary Kitchen today. Food was fabulous- great portions, reasonably priced, tasted delicious. Our server Brooklyn was amazing! Definitely recommend!

                                                                                                  I had the curry bowl and paid $8 for shrimp, and there were only FOUR shrimp in my dish. Pretty disappointing, but the dish was otherwise good.

                                                                                                  Order the Valentine special side of vegetables was two brussels sprouts the steak was overcooked on one side, and the baked potato was cold. The second entrée we had was calamari, which was pathetic and had no taste to it and very chewy.

                                                                                                  This restaurant is my favourite in Red Deer. Staff is so friendly and go above and beyond. Always check up on you and my glass is never empty or waiting a refill. Food is delicious and everything you order is perfection. There is no item on the menu that is not good. With that said, my favourite meal is Cajun Chicken. Lights are dimmed but it’s not too dark. They do have patio option in summer too. Incredible place to go and eat.
