Granary Square Brasserie, a new restaurant brand from the team behind the Ivy Collection.

The brasserie buzz through breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and cream teas in the afternoon. Throughout the day the lounge area will be perfect to relax with a drink or for informal meetings with luxurious vintage leather chairs and low brass tables. As the sun sets and we get ready for dinner, the DJ set will begin, and cocktails will flow.

The restaurant is beautiful with cut glass pendant lights, banquettes upholstered in silk and velvet and exotic kilim rugs. The striking central bar, located in the heart of the room, is perfect to survey the scene and enjoy an aperitif cocktail.

Really disappointed that we ordered duck curry and there was not a trace of duck in sight! It was chicken! The bar man told us that "it's a different cut of duck the white meat" then basically accused us of trying to get a freebie! When we later spoke to the manager and showed her the white, stringy consistency of the chicken (not dark with rich duck flavour), her only explanation was that she would need to check with their supplier which then informed us that the curry is not even made on site. At no point did anyone take our plates to the kitchen to taste or check with the chef and quite frankly, noone cared! We did get a free glass of wine after we had eaten our starter, main, two cocktails and two glasses of wine. Not sure why our second glass wasn't offered as complimentary but eventually, they offered us the 3rd glass. The manager also told us that noone else had mentioned it being chicken. Another amateur, poor answer. It really is appalling to advertise a meal as duck yet it is substituted with cheap chicken off-site and noone can be bothered to even check it! We were made to feel like liars. Will not return here or use any of their sister restaurants parading to have 'chefs'! Cocktails were great, starter or dressed crab was not really dressed but white meat in a mayonnaisey sauce.

Very much an ivy style restaurant but you know what to expect: very good service, yummy food and fairly high prices!

Another lovely evening. The food has never disappointed. Our waitress (Jessica) was amazing - a real credit to the establishment. Always a warm welcome, and the team members seem happy to be there. One of my favourite places.

Meal for 10 people (baby shower ) Everyone happy. good range of menus available . Service good. Long walk to toilets from our seats but nice when you got there . Food very good and tasty . Am rebooking for another big occassion
