The Granby Inn and Restaurant is owned and run by the Hall Family. We pride ourselves in providing our guests with comfortable accommodation, delicious food, a friendly atmosphere and an abiding wish to return! Formerly a coaching stop, The Granby Inn is around 260 years old and has retained much of its original character, including fine old oak beams.

2nd time we've been here. Came last year and stayed overnight as a gift. Back again this year for our anniversary. Absolutely outstanding from the minute we walked in the day. Food is second to none and the staff are absolutely lovely. Great value for money also! We will be back again.

A warm welcome when we entered the bar. Showed to our table. Took drinks order while we chose our food. Ordered Sunday lunch. Came within 10 minutes. Piping hot and cooked to perfection

A really lovely meal, clearly freshly cooked after we ordered. Service was excellent too. Definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic meal at the Granby had 3course opted for Steak extra £5 but well worth it was amazing. We will definitely return to try other dishes. Service was friendly felt really relaxed.

It has been many years since we dined at the Granby and it is definitely in need of an upgrade. Restaurant is looking very tired. Waitress was quite unfriendly and service slow. However, food was lovely

The food and the service were excellent, we were there for the steak night and the price was also very good. The only aspect that we did not enjoy, considering that we had a reservation, was the table assigned, in the bar area and literally by the side of the men’s toilets, when they have a nicer restaurant area, with just a few people in it. To be fair, we did not ask to be moved, but we will next time, because we plan to come back.
