Having dinner before a show or event? 🎭
We are located directly across the street from the CIBC theater & within close proximity to several surrounding venues including the Cadillac Palace Theater, Nederlander Theater and Chicago Theater.

To ensure the dinner experience standards we pride ourselves on, please allow at minimum 1.5 hours for your reservation with us.

• For 7:00 PM shows: please be seated by 5:45 PM
• For 7:30 PM shows: please be seated by 6:15 PM
• For 8:00 PM shows: please be seated by 6:45 PM

After these times, pre-theater guests are welcome to enjoy offerings at the bar. We look forward to making your time with us special!

The restaurant is lovely. The food is very good, and our server was excellent. It was very quiet for a Friday night - only about eight tables had diners at them, and the space is quite large. I'm not sure why it was so empty as our experience was very good.

My guest, who only eats steak and baked potatoes explained it might be the best filet hes has. High praise. Literally, all he eats is steak and baked potatoes.

The service and food were great. However, the restaurant closes at 9:00. And that’s a hard 9. The kitchen leaves before this and it’s made clear that it’s time to go. Which means if you have a reservation at 8 or later, you will not have enough time unless you are very fast. This is not a complaint against the restaurant but to set expectations for anyone planning a dinner reservation. Otherwise a good experience.

Hi Yvette, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're truly sorry if you felt rushed during your visit. That is not the kind of dining experience we aim to provide. Our goal is to ensure every guest enjoys their meal at a comfortable pace while also accommodating the needs of our staff and business as a whole. Once our guests have been seated, they will always have the ability to enjoy the full perks of the restaurant, including desserts, after dinner drinks and coffees. We will on occasions, close the main kitchen slightly early, after all of the main entrees have been served, and there are no others to order, if warranted. We truly value your time and patronage, and appreciate your feedback.

Everything was great! We were early for our reservation, but we randomly ran into friends just outside and decided to have a drink at the bar with them first. The staff were gracious and patient and seated us when we were ready. Our waitress was fun and we enjoyed our dinner very much. When it came to dessert, I had asked if they could put together an affogato (not on the menu) which they did for me. Will definitely dine there again whenever we are in town for a show!

The service was really exceptional. Not just our server, but also several staff helped. The food was good and the value was fair bfor being in the theater district of down town Chicago. If you are going to a show at the CBIC you are right across the street and can see when the doors open.

The food was excellent but we were disappointed at the presentation of the Branzino. At that price point, we usually expect a whole fish. This was just two very small pieces.
