We proudly serve Allen Bros. award winning steaks, the freshest seafood, pastas, and more. Having dinner before a show or event? 🎭
We are located directly across the street from the CIBC theater & within close proximity to several surrounding venues including the Cadillac Palace Theater, Nederlander Theater and Chicago Theater.

To ensure the dinner experience standards we pride ourselves on, please allow at minimum 1.5 hours for your reservation with us.

• For 7:00 PM shows: Last seating at 5:45 PM
• For 7:30 PM shows: Last seating at 6:15 PM
• For 8:00 PM shows: Last seating at 6:45 PM •

After these times, pre-theater guests are welcome to enjoy offerings at the bar. We look forward to making your time with us special!

Our five diners all received outstanding meals. Steaks were cooked perfectly to order and the service was wonderful.

The Grillroom is our new favorite steakhouse in Chicago. The restaurant is beautiful, service is great and the food divine! We had oysters, Steak and Lamb chops with chimichurri sauce, mushrooms, cream spinach and creme brulee. We'll be back!!

10/10 would come back again. Good holiday drinks and food was superb. Waitress was busy but managed to continually ask how we were doing. Restaurant stayed on top of the fact we were going to a play later that night and kept us on track to be at theatre on time.

First time visiting as we came in to see a play. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately one of our steaks was overcooked and there was not enough time to have it redone . For the price, the steak was just average. We tried the side of Mac and Cheese and the noodles were dry and also overcooked.

Great service but the food is way overpriced. Everything was very average tasting, decent meal but not worth the very high price tag.

Nice convenient place if attending a show at CIBC theater. Staff was super friendly and food was good quality you would expect from a steakhouse (with prices to match).
