Our first visit for their Valentine's Day special dinner. Reservation at 7 pm and seated promptly. pre-fixed menu and we each ordered the opposite from one another for all three courses so we could try everything offered. Unfortunately, at least three tables seated after us were served ahead of us. If not stopping our waiter and then a waitress and asking about our meal, we probably would have had to wait even longer than the 45 minutes just to get the appetizers served. Once they figured out our table had been neglected, the service improved somewhat but, as we noticed, at the expense of other tables around us. A pre-set, three course menu shouldn't make for a two hour dining experience. The restaurant is VERY bright with LED lighting. Great diner atmosphere but not a 'romantic' evening spot. The food quality was as advertised. Spinach salad looked hastily put together (which could have been a result of wait time) while the grilled oysters had a fantastic flavor but too many shell parts still in the soupy, cheesy mix. Halibut entree with bacon risotto and broccolini was outstanding. The filet, while cut in the shape of a heart with a demi-glaze tasted wonderful and was cooked as ordered (medium -) the meat quality (tenderness) left a bit to be desired. The sweet potato medallions and sautéed vegetables were delicious. The lobster tail served with the filet had obviously been prepared well in advance and was very dry and crusty but still tasted good with the drawn butter. The tiramisu was great while the chocolate cake was a bit dried out but the raspberry creme saved it. Overall, a great value for the three courses at $75 each ++. I'm sure they'll do better in the future and I hope they do. They just seemed a bit overwhelmed last night. Great place and worth the drive if you're not from Lonoke.
