The Guild exemplifies a new and exciting take on the finest traditions of butchery, cookery and bar-keeping. The name is inspired by guild halls from the past, which served as a meeting places and secret societies for artists and merchants. Honouring local beef, game and fowl, and utilizing traditional cooking techniques over wood and coal, The Guild chefs are preparing a fitting homage to proud Canadian carnivores.

    This restaurant was recommended to me by my son and it was a wonderful experience. The ambience was lovely and the service excellent. The steaks were done perfectly and our salmon was delicious. The only thing that would have been better, is to include a vegetable with the dinner and not have to buy on the side. We will be going return!

    Overall a great experience. Sadly the espresso machine is STILL out of order. Our server said it has been six months waiting for a part. Why not just buy a new machine????

    Dining experience was over all pretty good. Can be a little noisy for a business lunch at times, but food and service is always good. I will say that I find their medium and/or medium rare to be on the rare side.

    First time at The Guild. It was a great experience. Atmosphere was fantastic and the food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent.

    All the staff members were nice and attentive. The food exceeded our expectations. We ordered the steak tartar and the tomahawk steak with mash potatoes, truffle fries, and the red win jus sauce. For the price it, it was a pretty good deal. Mash potatoes were kinda bland but when combined with the steak and sauce, it was balanced. Personal preference but I wish there was more presentation when it came to serving the tomahawk (ex. Slicing it in front of the table). Nonetheless, it tasted great and overall, a solid meal.
