A country side feeling mixed with a modern refurbishment. Tasty and homemade, seasonal food and friendly service, makes us pub special. Situated in the heart of Blackheath with a fantastic view outside.
We welcome dogs into the bar area, please select a bar seating if you would like to bring your four legged friends with you when reserving a table and we will provide water and treats for them.

    Good service and location but the food is terrible! Probably the saddest looking and tasting croque monsieur I’ve ever seen. Overpriced pub food. Shame really. Also too noisy and full of screaming kids. Not a fun place to go at the weekends.

    What a lovely atmosphere. The quiz last night was such fun with a lovely quizmaster who keeps everything flowing along just nicely. A great bunch of bar staff too. We are always made to feel welcome.

    VERY busy pub on a Sunday due to their excellent roasts. Roast Chicken with all the trimmings was fantastic. Super dog friendly pub too, so ours was spoilt with treats and pets and very welcome!

    We had a table for 7. We were supported with a very friendly and attentive service throughout and the food was excellent, thank you for making the Canadian visitors so welcome :-)

    My partner ordered the steak sandwich but it did not say it had mustard in it…

    Hi Tom, Thank you for your feedback, we do ask if there are any allergies before taking any order so I hope this wasn't the case and it was only a preference. I am not sure if you made the server aware but we would have been more than happy to make a new steak sandwich without the mustard-mayo as I understand it is our fault for not having it listed on the menu.     Such a lovely friendly place. We are always made to feel very welcome by the staff. A really good range of food and drinks are always on offer. A great place.
