Our menus, created by Executive Chef Michael Chandler, borrow from haute cuisine and local artisanal foods creating a unique gastronomic experience that is both rustic and refined.

    Afternoon epicurean delights from the French Alps. Delight in this alpine culinary experience at the Hermitage Inn. Reserve one of two heated private gondolas for a one of a kind curated dining experience. Experience includes alpine fonduta (fondue) and a glass of Champagne. $75 per guest (plus tax & gratuity) Warm attire is strongly recommended. Seating is limited to parties of four per gondola. Gondola Apres seatings are at 3:00pm and 3:15pm. Menu is available on our website www.thehermitageinnvermont.com

    All epicurean delights of the French Alps. Experience luxurious French inspired dining in one of our two private and cozy heated gondolas while enjoying views of Haystack Mt. and the Hermitage Inn grounds. $150 per guest (plus tax & gratuity) $85 per guest optional French wine pairing (plus tax & gratuity) Please note that our gondolas are heated, but located outdoors. Warm attire is strongly recommended. Seating is limited to parties of four per gondola. Gondola dinner seatings are at 6:15pm and 6:30pm.     The food was amazing. Not what you would expect in the middle of rural Vermont. Totally recommend! The cocktails were also quite delicious.

    We had an incredible dinner at The Hermitage Inn after a freezing cold ski day. We were seated by the fireplace and the warm bread was a welcomed start. My daughter had the hermitage burger and I had the sirloin with Yukon mashed potatoes. We ended the evening with a warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. While we were seated we chatted with one of the owners and then got to see the incredible wine cellar. It doesn’t get better…

    We ate in the Tavern. Ambience relaxing. Noise level on the higher end. Appetizers & dinner delicious. Definitely higher price restaurant.

    Just a really nice atmosphere with excellent service from our waitress Lyndsey. The filet and Alaskan king crab was delicious.

    The atmosphere is lovely; one of the nicest places in the valley. The food is good but not as good as it used to be, especially for the prices The “Dover sole” didn’t seem to be actual Dover sole which for $68 was disappointing. Not bad but certainly not worth $68. There were a few errors with our order which our server recognized when they were delivered which we appreciated.
