My first visit in a while. Parking is very limited. Many cars over spill into 2 surrounding roads including us. I was surprised by the size of the dining area. It was very busy looking around the roast looked good. We both ordered the roast beef. My friend requested a 2nd Yorkshire, they happily obliged. We felt the meal could have been hotter, nothing worse than lukewarm food. We did mention it at the end of the meal. I would return to see if it was a one off due to the high level of covers they were dealing with. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly accommodating servers.

As I said on my review on tripadvisor I think the chef needs cooking lessons. The wife and I both ordered Beef Roast . The beef okay but a little tasteless, for some reason with all there roast they do stuffing and pigs in blanket, stuffing overcooked a round ball very hard on the outside and dry in the middle, pigs in blanket again overcooked sausage dry and bacon like a piece of dry string. All veg overcooked the only good thing was the Yorkshire pudding and that was only average. After leaving my review on Tripadvisor the Chef phoned me and offered us a re visit and have a meal on him , but thinking about our experience for our Sunday Roast we declined. The most disappointing thing about this was it was my wife’s birthday dinner and this spoilt the occasion

Slow service (30 mins from order to food). Unusual for this pub. Food was nice and they accommodated all of our special requests.

Wonderful lunch with friends. Service excellent and the staff extremely attentive and friendly. Lunch was excellent and the portions were generous. Would definitely recommend and will go there again.

In the main, lovely food. Would have been five stars across the board but for a slightly disappointing seasonal burger.

Lovely restaurant and the food was really nice. I had the fish inspired linguine and was very nice. It wasn't very busy at the time of visiting, so it felt fairly empty and reason for my ambience score. Service was really helpful and felt very well looked after. Will come back again.

Excellent food and great menu choices. Helpful staff. Lovely setting of pub and restaurant. Value for money and a good evening out.

Great service, polite, friendly and professional. Exceptional food had the Seabass for main course and it was amazing. The restaurant is warm and inviting with a great atmosphere. Great value for the quality of food. Would recommend to friends family and colleagues. Will certainly be returning for a second visit.
