OPEN 5 days/week for INDOOR & EXTENSIVE OUTDOOR Covered Dining and Take-out Orders.

The Staff will try their best to accommodate all seating requests, but cannot guarantee all specific table requests will be available. Current Hours are: Wednesday - Saturday: 11:30am - 9pm Sunday: 11:30am - 8pm (closed Mon/Tues)

The Independent Restaurant and Bar offers guests and neighbors in Placerville, California a place to gather and enjoy refreshing fare and drinks.                                                                                       The menu was very unique and the food was excellent I had the bank mi chicken sandwich and my wife had grilled cheese. Both were delicious and there were plenty of hot and crispy fries. Our server, Amy, was attentive and very friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

                                                                                      We got to the restaurant on time for our reservation and had a short wait to be seated. Once seated however we were completely forgotten. We waited at least 20 minutes for someone, who had walked past us multiple times, looking over at us and smiling, to come over and ask if we had been helped. When we said no he acted shocked. He was a good actor and when he got over the "shock" that we hadn't been helped yet as if he couldn't tell from the many times he passed by us he said he would let someone know. After a bit of a wait we started gathering our things to leave when another guy came over to wait on us. His excuse for not coming to our table sooner was "he had just been told". Do these guys not know what tables they have for the evening? He came from the outside area but that was the only time he came inside. We left all because of the customer service. Nobody seemed to care therefore we don't care if we ever return.

                                                                                      Hi Susan- We apologize that it took so long for our server to get to your table in his assigned section. Yes, he was busy with his outside tables at the time, and we're sure the 12 minutes it took for him to come to your table felt longer to you. We have spoken to our staff members involved and have emphasized the importance of communicating with all tables in their section so they do not feel forgotten, thanks for bringing your experience to our attention.                                                                                       Best salmon burger ever. Homemade patty. The server Trevor came by multiple times to check on us. The wait staff was there filling our glasses. The manager or host person was checking on us as well. My partners' for dinner enjoyed their burger and said it was cooked to perfection. my husband loved his old fashion drink. Good stuff
