Please visit our website to learn more about The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges http://www.theinnatpoundridge.com/ Chef Jean‑Georges introduces his latest venture, a casually elegant restaurant ensconced in the picturesque town of Pound Ridge, New York. Here, Jean‑Georges cultivates a truly seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine, with ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley and New England, whenever possible. Constructed in 1833 as a residence and serving later as an inn, the building has been painstakingly renovated to preserve as many of the original materials as possible, including four working fireplaces. Thomas Juul-Hansen designed the restaurant’s interior with a modern yet rustic sensibility; zinc and marble accent stone and reclaimed wood. The restaurant’s lighting, artfully conceived by Hervé Descottes, employs paper shades and Edison fixtures to create warmth throughout.

    Five ladies who lunch had a wonderful experience on ALL levels. The food was exceptionally good - everyone enjoyed their chosen dishes. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food, wine and cocktails. Valet parking is always appreciated too. A wonderful lunch and we were not rushed out after we’d finished wasting. Totally delightful on all counts.

    I missed the coziness of the old inn. Our food was very good, however, not as hot as I prefer. Service staff was very attentive.

    Came here for a work party with the Mrs and the food was excellent, she liked it so much she wanted to return for her birthday. The date was too close to get a reservation for the evening of her birthday, but we were able to get a reservation for brunch on her b-day and she was insistent on still going despite it being earlier in the day. It did not disappoint! Food was outstanding--Spicy Sausage and Kale Pizza as an appetizer, followed by Crunchy Brioche French Toast with Caramelized Apples and Parmesan Crusted Organic Chicken, Artichokes, Lemon and Basil Sauce for main courses, and we split a salted caramel ice cream sundae w/ fudge and caramel popcorn :) Service was very attentive and frequently available, they even comped me for a refill after I spilled my glass of wine. And they confirmed that they had received my special birthday request for my wife via OpenTable and obliged as requested :) Even the parking valet was prompt and courteous! My wife was so happy with her experience and is eager to return with family & friends.

    Tuna tartare and split lobster memorable Pricey and slow start to service but Jessica was pleasant and knowledgeable. Super Tuscan glass was excellent. I wish: - Bring back lobster with chile butter sauce vs. herb lime butter sauce (good but not as good). - Serve shoestring vs. regular French fries with lobster. - Make glass of champagne more reasonable-$38?
