Nestled in the heart of Brighton’s historic quarter, the brick-paved Lanes, The Ivy Asia Brighton is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and much more.

Savour a menu as rich and varied as the diverse cultures that span the continent of Asia. With pan-Asian classics alongside incredible vegetarian and plant-based options, there’s something to please all. Expect a range of Sushi and Sashimi as well as small plates such as Pork and Kimchi dumplings, Spinach and Mushroom Gyozas or large plates such as smoking BBQ Lamb Chops and Slow-cooked Pork Belly.

When the Afternoon hits you do not want to miss out on our Asian-inspired Afternoon Tea, combining our best dishes, such as Aromatic Duck Spring Rolls, Salmon Cream Cheese and Cucumber Maki Rolls.

The decor and atmosphere is gorgeous and quite full on - it’s an intense experience, with much to stimulate all of your senses! Wonderful food, beautifully presented and impeccable service.

Great venue. Ambiance was amazing! Service was bad. The waitress didn’t put in our drink order. So food came out before the wine. Food tasted fantastic but was cold. Order more dumplings & they came out cold & almost uncooked. The waitress seemed like she wasn’t listening to us, just too busy even though the place wasn’t that busy. So overall NOT impressed at all… won’t be rushing back that’s for sure!!!!!

The decor is kitsch but interesting. The service was terrible. We booked for 8 o’clock and they took our order at 8.30. Nine different staff waited upon us. The food was ok some dishes good others less so; the duck salad had almost no duck. The dishes came when they wanted to bring them. The two rice dishes arrived towards the end when we had little left to eat them with so they were mostly wasted. Sadly the music ruined the evening. Loud drum and bass. The table and floor were vibrating. We couldn’t hear the waitresses or each other. Apart from some of the food it was an appalling experience.

Amazing dinner had the vegetarian experience which was delicious , decor so imaginative out waitress Jamie was brilliant as was the violinist thank you

Table was missing chop sticks at seating, starters were delivered and was hard work to get attention of the staff for chopsticks or anything to eat with so decided to just use hands for sushi. Main arrived again no cutlery so had to get someone’s attention with no joy so had to get up and ask after a few minutes, desert arrived again no cutlery had to ask. To get more drinks was slow to get served. Not what you expect when the bill was over £250 for 4 ppl - do better if you are charging top dollar

We had a wonderful time this afternoon. Our waitress Jaime was amazing and made our experience even better. Food great drinks great loved it !

Lovely as always, but not off the scale wonderful. No dish was outstanding. The restaurant is so lovely to be in, the staff attentive. Very very nice but not outstanding. Our mains had to go back as they were not hot enough, but the waiter was very apologetic. The wines I had were very good.

We were served by Luke, he was energetic and very accommodating. He was confident about the menu and made us feel like we made good choices which we did because yummmmm! He was attentive when serving our bottle of wine also making sure we were always topped up. 10/10 service from Luke! The music was a little loud for our taste as we had to shout quite a bit, but it didn’t ruin the evening. Will defo be back! Thank you.
