Enjoy a taste of east in the heart of west at The Ivy Asia, Chelsea.

Our menu takes you on a journey through Asia where you can enjoy sushi & sashimi, small dishes such as prawn tempura or vegetable gyoza, and large dishes including the likes of slow-cooked pork belly and avocado crispy tofu. All our meals are the perfect match for our theatrical drinks and cocktails.

Service was not particularly good. Lots of different waiters and waitresses. Wine poured then taken away not placed in an ice bucket near the table. Happy for wine to be taken as long as there is an attentive waiter. Over £400 for 4 people with a 13.5% service charge.

I have been to the Ivy Asia on a few occasions. Previous times I have enjoyed it, the food has been good. However, I had to mark it down significantly as their festive afternoon tea was significantly worse then my other visits. The food was below average, with the bao buns being really dry and undedfilled. They advertised that you could order coffee, but when we asked our server said no so we had to order tea. With that, you are only allowed one pot of tea, which we had to ask for after all our savory food as it wasn't offered. Overall the service was incredible poor, the waiters were not very friendly and very inattentive.

Excellent service. We had the special Festive Menu which was very good. A variety of foods. Really tasty.

We ate at Min Jiang on Christmas Eve , had Christmas lunch at Canton Blue / Peninsula Hotel , and Ivy Asia on Boxing Day .........................and the winner is Ivy Asia ! The food was more flavourful and the price was better and super relaxed atmosphere .

Went there on Christmas eve as was my friend birthday. Service was excellent. Eric was friendly and helpful. Food as usual outstanding. Only 1 little thing I should say… I was expecting a little plate for my friend as I marked few time that was his birthday. But for the rest was everything good.

Service was very poor. We received our food before the drinks arrived. And, when the drinks arrived, only half of them came. Next courses were served before clearing the plates from the previous courses, leaving no room on the table to put dishes. The food was adequate. Almost all the (hot) dishes were served luke warm. We were never asked how everything was until we were leaving. And then when I said it wasn’t great, all they said was, sorry to hear that. No one asked what was wrong. Not great when your spending hundreds of £.

We arrived 8 mins late to find out they had given our table to someone else. Initially they said that they were waiting for the table to cellar then stated it was because we were late. Why we asked what their policy was they said they only hold the table for 15 mins. When we pointed out that we hadn’t reached that time limit they just said that they were giving us a “ better table”. I had asked for a birthday occasion but this was not forthcoming. It was a shame as having to wait around at the beginning spoilt the whole experience. Poor front of house.
