   A large family group meal. 18:30 reservation. Service was adaquate but slow. Food was nice enough but nothing special.

   Brilliant service makes all the difference in a restaurant and that’s what we had today. Food good, atmosphere good, good table position - but the service made it….

   Very friendly staff and the food is always good. I’ve been to many Ivy restaurants in the UK and they are all consistent.

   Very disappointing. We went for lunch today on my Birthday and things got off to a good start although my wife was not impressed much by her starter. We then had a huge long wait for our main courses and, in the end, we gave up. The good feelings had evaporated so we were just not interested any more in eating. They took some money off the bill for some drinks we had had but overall we felt the place had gone downhill and we probably won’t go again. Table service was otherwise ok, that’s the best we can say I’m afraid.

   We had a table at 17.45 - they would not allow us to move it earlier by telephone … but I re-booked to 1630 on OpenTable no problems; the front desk were not open about it Three of the main courses were stone cold - this is not the first time this has happened I never leave reviews and especially poor reviews but I go fairly regularly and previously have been let down here. The original in London would be ashamed although really lovely & really good table staff here - but lots of managers doing little as far as I could see. They need to up their game

   Was celebrating a 21st birthday, we had a lovely round table the warm salted bread was lovely, we all had cocktails to start which were great, all the starters were great, we all had filet steak but not really the best quality, we had a nice birthday surprise a profiterole with candle we then shared a sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel sauce which was rather good, but the only real disappointment was the wine, I ordered a bottle of pinot noir cloudy bay at £76.00 I was somewhat shocked this bottle of wine was presented to me with a screw cap, I never expected this and also the wine was slightly warm well above room temperature but I did not wish to make a fuss on this special occasion, but the temperature needs to be addressed, but overall we had a wonderful time.

    Great visit to the ivy. Went for a girly lunch with my granddaughter (8yrs old) who was in awe of the place in the decorations, food and was made to feel very special by the staff. Thankyou for a wonderful lunch. We will definately visit again
