    A disappointing night really. The food was like warm at best, the prawn cocktail had no avocado and was sloppy, the calamari was tepid. The main courses were much better but when we looked at the Bill…we just thought…it wasn’t worth it and we won’t be back.

    Service was attentive. Food was average, after there was some confusion with the breakfast we’d ordered. We received something different to what was on the menu! Didn’t live up to The Ivy hype.

    Lovely staff and service but the food was a big disappointment, particularly the value for money. We had a voucher for breakfast for 2 to the value of £60. We were given a separate menu with no prices we made us suspicious i.e. because we had a voucher were they marking up the prices? We had 2 full English, hot drink, cold drink and toast which actually cost just over the £60 value of the voucher. Absolutely extortionate for what we get. Quality of the food was good but no more than that, portions were poor. I personally think it was overpriced by about £20.

    Unfortunately, not being a cheese eater I was disappointed not to be offered cheese-free scallops. Instead I ordered the Calamari which was only average.
