   It was our first time dining at the restaurant, such an amazing experience! Never tasted food like it before and customer service was impeccable.

   We were recommended The Jackdaw. Fabulous restaurant. Full the evening we went with lots of chatter. Food was gorgeous each plate delicious. Manager was very knowledgeable about wines and helped me choose my wine selection. My husband had the wine pairing which he said was a great compliment to each course. We will definitely go back.

   Had a wonderful evening celebrating my husbands birthday at the Jackdaw. The food was excellent, service was attentive without being obtrusive with a nice buzzy atmosphere.

   A real treat. A chance to indulge in a beautifully cooked and prepared tasting menu, in a lovely atmosphere with excellent table service. We felt spoiled!

   A tasting experience with a winter theme . A unique and delicious treat for a special occasion or for each season. We tried food we would not normally order and enjoyed it all . The manager/sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He made the evening. The decor was lovely too .

   Decor poor .Clothes hanging facility inadequate. Decor poor Service satisfactory Vegetarian option meagre Wine good choice.. Location handy but needs better signage

   Great experience for my birthday lunch, thank you Food exceptional and lovely wine by the glass so able to try different wines with different courses recommendations accepted!

    My husband and I had the winter tasting menu, it was really brilliantly done. Very rich and hearty given it was also very dainty and beautiful. Highly recommend. The service is sublime, the sommelier/Front of house manager Gareth was honestly one of the best parts of our evening, a skilled pro. Timings of the courses was excellent and we just had a wonderful time. Adored the commitment to the Welsh narrative and produce in everything they do here.
