I visited this restaurant with a friend, and unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing experience. Our total came to $150 each. For that price, we expected much better quality.
We each had a passion fruit cocktail, shared the cheesy pull-apart bread, tried the baked scallops, and had fish and chips as our mains. The drinks were tasty but honestly just tasted like juice—I’m not even sure they contained any alcohol. The cheesy bread tasted like something straight out of Domino’s freezer section, not the fresh, indulgent appetizer we had in mind.
The baked scallops were okay at best, but they were completely overpowered by the bacon they were paired with, making them one-dimensional and mediocre. Then came the fish and chips—by far the worst part. At $27, I couldn’t believe we were served what tasted like freezer-burned fish sticks. The portion was underwhelming, and the quality was shocking for the price.
We both left with stomach aches, which really sealed the deal. While the service was friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were pleasant enough, the food was a complete letdown, especially given the high prices.
I’m genuinely surprised by all the glowing reviews I’ve seen for this place. If you’re considering dining here, I’d recommend skipping the food entirely and maybe just stopping by for drinks—if you’re okay with spending a lot for what feels like juice.
