The Kingstide is Daniel Island's first and only waterfront restaurant. Boasting a pristine setting along the Wando River's meandering waterways, the beautifully appointed two-story space features an abundance of windows that maximize natural light and picturesque views. Envisioned and executed by renowned Charleston-based Cortney Bishop Design, The Kingstide's rustic yet refined interiors offer a nautical nod that goes beyond coastal expectations The menu offers a variety of seafood dishes thoughtfully presented in both raw and wood-fired preparations. Inspired by the beautifully simple flavors of the sea, The Kingstide partners with local and regional fisheries, farmers, and purveyors to showcase the Lowcountry's bounty through fresh, seasonally driven cuisine.

    Went for restaurant week. Choices limited, but enjoyed what we ordered. Been here several times snd service was pleasant but on the slower side this evening even though the restaurant was only half full. Will definitely return for the food and the view.

    Our server Josh was very knowledgeable about the menu and considerate of the allergies at the table. The gluten free dessert was delicious! Will definitely be a staple in our family.

    Fabulous service, our dinner was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. Would like to go back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating and views. Would highly recommend!

    I had a fantastic experience! Our server was incredibly attentive and made sure to clear the table regularly—something you don’t see as often these days, believe it or not. I ordered the Caesar salad, which had plenty of cheese—a bonus for me since I love cheese! But if you prefer less, keep that in mind. The swordfish was delicious, and overall, the food was great.

    Our server was exceptional and our food was fabulous! We were a party of 4 which included 2 elders with hearing issues and dementia whose memories are very bad. The server was so patient with them even after having to explain the menus more than once. She was so personable and friendly towards both of them. We all loved our menu choices and one of us was able to order a change in his menu to accommodate a different vegetable choice. Sitting in the spacious booth was like being in a private dining room, so we were all able to converse without shouting. We would all definitely dine here again. I had eaten on the deck upstairs previously during the warm weather, but never eaten in the dining room downstairs. It was a real treat!!

    My experience at The Kingstide was amazing. From the moment me and my mother walked in the door we were not disappointed. We stared off with the house sausage and crab fried rice (Highly recommend both). We shared a NY Strip and the Scallops, both dishes were spectacular. We shared a KT Crunch Bar for dessert to cap off the night. Our server Madi provided amazing service. The AGM Jackie stopped by and she is lovely! Will definitely be back soon.

    We had a fabulous dinner at Kingstide. Our server Josh was wonderful, and the swordfish was some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere!!! We will be back!

    Service was great, food was superb. I had the swordfish and couldn't figure out what was in it but it was the most wonderful combination of flavors. Thank you
