A UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE
We've combined the essence of historic downtown Wallingford with exquisite cuisine, along with a worldwide wine selection to bring you Wallingford's most unique dining experience.

The Library Wine Bar and Bistro is Wallingford's original town library. Built in 1899, it was passionately and lovingly restored back to its classic, architectural beauty in 2014.

Executive Chef Jonathan Harris, and the Massella family invite you to come and dive into a new chapter of an old Wallingford landmark. Savor the comforts of traditional cuisine, wine, and spirits while nestled at a comfortable table near our cozy fire, and let the story begin!

    The food was great... cool menu... my issue was the opportunity lost on playing more on the Library history/theme and the really weird old wedding music playing. I loved the duck but please stop playing disco at 5pm, light jazz would have been better, or instrumental pop. The ambiance is a collection of attributes, even if the food is stellar, I can't listen to Piano Man walking in the door.

    The place is cozy and has a very warm feel. The noise level is perfect so we could hear each other at the table and enjoy the conversation. The service was spectacular. Food was very good with the only complaint that a couple of the dinners could have been a bit more generous. Otherwise, great experience!

    The Library is a true gem - a really great vibe in a beautiful spot. The service was impeccable and the menu made it hard to choose - so many appealing options. The food was excellent and prepared and serviced perfectly. So glad we discovered this spot and will return again!
