Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.

The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!

Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

    Lovely food and venue. However no lunchtime menu available on a Saturday, so you're ordering an evening meal, which is too much for a Saturday lunchtime.

    Lovely birthday lunch with my brother. We went for the light lunch menu for a change but even the club sandwiches defeated us! Surprise birthday dessert was gifted which was a lovely touch. Service not as good today as usual but they were busy. Christmas decorations look lovely. Still our favourite place locally as loyal customers.

    My husband had the fish and chips,which was so good,lovely white fish,I had the pan seared chicken,absolutely delicious.It was our anniversary dinner and a really great evening,thank you.

    This must be one of the best restaurants in the area with a very stylish dining room. The staff were all friendly & helpful & the food was excellent. All four of us enjoyed something different, with the cheesecake being declared the best ever’. The portions were also very generous.

    Gorgeous restaurant, excellent food that was beautifully presented. Friendly staff and very good service. Good for a romantic dinner or celebration with friends. Highly recommended!
