The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

For groups of 8 or more people, please contact the restaurant to discuss personalized seating and menu options.

    Everyone loves wine and chocolate! Join Sommeliers Carrie Lynn Strong and Kristie Grey on Wednesday, February 5th for a fun tasting of chocolates and SoilAir Selections wines. Our 2-hour tastings start at 6:00pm in the Speakeasy on the 1st Wednesday of the month.  Each event features 5 wines and a small plate of crackers & dried fruits. Guests are encouraged to order additional food items à la carte from the tasting menu. Seating is limited and must be booked directly on OpenTable > Experiences. If you have additional questions, please email our sommelier at wines@logcabin1933.com or call our main number 717.626.999 to speak with a host.

    A pleasant place. Quiet, somewhat more upscale dining. The waiter seemed inexperienced but friendly and professional. The food was good but a little underwhelming. Overall not bad, but not the best in Lancaster.

    Beautiful restaurant inside and out. Great bar area and nice piano room for having a cocktail. Our server was very nice but had to give her 4 stars. She walked by our table 4 times when our drinks were empty, water as well. She did have 2 other tables but they were all 2 tops. Her attentiveness could have been much better. The food was fantastic as were the drinks, definitely will return.

    Food was wonderful. Dining room was a little chilly with how cold it was outside. Wish we would have kept our coats. We were treated very well for our anniversary meal.

    The Log Cabin continues to be a visually stunning property. The outside decorations set a perfect tone for wrapping up our holiday send off celebration dinner with our Army Officer son. The indoor decorations were perfect as well creating a warm upscale holiday atmosphere. Unfortunately, we walked past empty room after empty room until we were seated in a room with a large loud office holiday party. The beautiful ambiance was crushed by the loud office party just steps away from our table. Why didn’t this group have their own room? The menu captivated us. The wines we were served were delicious. The oysters were outstanding. Our son’s Ossobucco looked amazing and was delicious. The service was pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately, the $8.00 bread service was mediocre at best. The lobster bites were tasteless and the short ribs were dry, tough and bland (the sausage was tasty). We have been fans of the Log Cabin since we were kids. We don’t want to give up on the Log Cabin. I hope this was just a “less than great” night for us and the restaurant.

    My wife and I had the surf and turf. The filets were cooked to perfection as ordered. The service was excellent and the ability to pay the bill with your phone is extremely convenient.
