The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

    Everyone loves wine and chocolate! Join Sommelier Carrie Lyn Strong of Strong Consulting on Wednesday, February 5th for a fun tasting of chocolates and SoilAir Selections wines. Everyone will enjoy pairings with specially created chocolate offerings from Chef Steve Painter. Our 2-hour tastings start at 6:00pm in the Speakeasy on the 1st Wednesday of the month.  Guests are encouraged to order additional food items à la carte from the tasting menu. Seating is limited and must be booked directly on OpenTable > Experiences.     Join us in the Piano Lounge 6:00pm to 9:30pm every Friday & Saturday night for live music from some of Lancaster County’s best musicians! Enjoy a drink, dessert or small-plate while listening to a mix of Blues, Jazz and American Classics. Walk-ins are welcome! And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    The Log Cabin is definitely a stop if youre looking for a special night with your significant other. The menu was limited and no choices for pasta lovers but there is definitely something there to suit anyone's palate. The cuisine is a mix of traditional with a modern flare. The steaks and seafood were done perfectly and were prime cuts. The staff was extremely friendly, outgoing and professional. The ambiance was perfect with its quiet, clean, and private setting. It was a perfect night and setting for me to propose to my now fiancé. We had a fantastic time and the building is charmingly unique and ripe with history. We will definitely return. I felt that the pricing was fair and a "good deal" when considering all things there. I have eaten at many high end resturaunts and The Log Cabin will be a frequent stop for me and my fiancé. Fantastic job to the staff and chef!

    The ambience in the Gable Room was perfect for our small family gathering. Warm and cozy with live music by the wonderfully talented Emaylia piped in from downstairs. The food and service were all outstanding and we were never rushed. The Log Cabin is pricey but well worth it for the experience!

    We had a lovely evening with delicious food and impeccable service. We enjoyed the Cabin in the Woods cocktail, oysters, Lobstercargot, Lamb Shank, Filet, Duck, and Halibut. We all loved everything!

    Food was just average and overpriced. Bread was cold and when mentioned it was not replaced or comped. Steak was tough for $62 and oysters were not very good. Disappointed and most likely would not go back.

    A pleasant place. Quiet, somewhat more upscale dining. The waiter seemed inexperienced but friendly and professional. The food was good but a little underwhelming. Overall not bad, but not the best in Lancaster.

    Beautiful restaurant inside and out. Great bar area and nice piano room for having a cocktail. Our server was very nice but had to give her 4 stars. She walked by our table 4 times when our drinks were empty, water as well. She did have 2 other tables but they were all 2 tops. Her attentiveness could have been much better. The food was fantastic as were the drinks, definitely will return.
