Within the Mansion’s intimate parlors and expansive outdoor spaces, a variety of culinary experiences are available to delight guests every day; from leisurely lunches to decadent twilight dinners. Our unique perspective reflects the season and region, while drawing inspiration from global destinations to highlight the natural beauty of our ingredients. The beverage program showcases inventive cocktails, rare spirits, and an eclectic wine list that goes beyond Sonoma’s borders to embrace the work of winemakers around the world.

The estate offers a stylish and relaxed experience to be shared by all. As our guests play a role in the ambience, a smart casual appearance is appreciated.

Given the style of the property, the hotel and restaurant are generally not the best environment for young children.

The Madrona is honored to house a unique and dynamic art collection curated by Dolby Chadwick Gallery.

    The tea and food were very good however service was not the best. Our tea was not refilled until we asked and then only half a cup. Was hard to get the server’s attention since it didn’t appear as if he wanted to make eye contact. Would’ve been nice to actually been served tea at an afternoon tea.

    Our server Madison was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and so pleasant and engaging. Food was delicious and drinks were great! This was my first time there and I will absolutely be back. Thanks for a great Valentine’s Day!

    Not worth it. We started and ended with the soaking tempura ball, sort of a glob of dripping mess on the plate. Service seemed disjointed and unprofessional. Management is definitely not in tune with what is happening on the floor or possibly not concerned. We thankfully quickly relocated to Matheson.

    The interior of The Madrona is spectacular. They have done a great job of preserving the historic look and feel without making it feel old and smelly. The staff was friendly and efficient. In all this elegance and splendor our server wore an apron with a bunch of pens and an order book in it. What? Are we at Dennys? I had the Halibut, which was good, and my husband ordered the steak. When we went to order glasses of wine my husband was very disappointed there was not a Cabernet on the list to go with his steak. There were Zins, Pinots and a red blend from Lodi. I don’t remember seeing any Sonoma wines on the by the glass wines which I thought was interesting. Our server graciously gave him tastes of different wines so he could find something he liked. So I guess for us it was a good experience, not a great one.
