   The food we had today was very good, calves liver and bacon was excellent and crayfish and prawn sandwich was lovely.

   Lovely pub with great choice of inside & outside dining/drinking areas and a lovely atmosphere The food and service were excellent as always, the staff are so attentive but at the right level.

   First time back after becoming The Mallthouse again .. Won't be returning. Pie was empty of meat chips were not chunky chips and the gravy thick and sweet. Shame as food at The Goat was superb.

   A pleasant meal Saturday evening. The usual array of pub meals on the menu, I'm not sure they qualify for gastro pub status though. Pub has been updated although lacking a little bit of soul and maybe a bit of colour to make it cosy and inviting. However food all hot and well cooked and staff attentive.

   Great service, food was average, beef and chicken not cooked to our satisfaction but OK. Drinks choice fine. Price about average.

   Food was not good at all, the children’s “tomato pasta” was dry, basic and not fresh whatsoever. My salad was warm, the leafs had gone all soggy, the chicken was horrible. Really bad food for everyone

   Good food, value and a nice meal. Waitress not genuinely interested in customers, pulled a face when asked very politely to change a glass with lipstick stain, which is disappointing when you’re trying to enjoy a relaxed meal.

   We booked quite last minute for Mother’s Day and despite being fully booked, they managed to create and area for my family and our dogs. The whole team went above and beyond and the service on the day was fantastic
