   Dinner at the Marigold Club was an exceptional experience. The ambience was elegant, complemented by well-curated music and meticulous attention to detail. The cuisine was exquisite, and the service was outstanding—our server was highly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive.    We (3 of us) were seated at a corner table that was so crowded that the table was up against us all the way around - the table is too large for the footprint. Food was good - not great - but certainly not worth the money.

   Outstanding in every respect! My dinner guest and I, from starters to desserts, hardly left a morsel. The mains, Duck Wellington & the Filet, couldn’t have been better. Our courses were timed nicely, efficient without feeling rushed. The most unexpected pleasure was the degree of courtesy displayed by EVERY member of staff-it was delightful to experience the same attention being paid to guest interaction as is given to the cuisine.

   Very beautiful decor with great food to match. We especially loved the beef tartare, marigold signature salad, and the ice cream dessert cart.

    This gorgeous gem delivers in its London/Mayfair ambience with impeccable details like exquisite furniture and textiles, warm and opulent lighting, and tastefully whimsical wallpaper. Unfortunately, for me, the over-the-top impression ended there. The English Gougere could have been excellent had it not been for the overpowering marmalade. We did enjoy the Fish “not” Chips, which were pleasantly crispy and flavorful, and the Oysters and Shrimp Cocktail were fresh and delicious. The Duck Wellington was an interesting concept that I just had to try. While the pastry was perfectly baked, the duck, itself, was tough. Flavors were pleasantly complex and deep, but the texture was disappointing. But the biggest disappointment for me was the Dover Sole. The flesh was a tad overdone, which, for this dish, is devastating. It was on the dry side, and the lackluster butter sauce couldn’t save it. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was also a bit of a letdown, but mostly because the version I had in London was one of the very best desserts I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly, I would give this restaurant another chance, because I personally appreciate ambiance and en pointe decor.
