                                                                Finding it harder to enjoy Marigold. Last couple of times involved waiting over 20 minutes to be seated, after our reservation time. Service was off tonight which was unusual. Server must have been new. When my husband and I go out on a date, we like to sit next to each other, esp in restaurants like Marigold, where the noise level is next level. We always note that we want a booth in our requests. Last few times, we have sat in the most uncomfortable settings, ie. our two top sandwiched between two very loud 4 tops or being seated in the aisle near front door. Ugh! Seating is everything, esp in a restaurant where the tables are practically one on top of the other. Food was excellent, but if you’re in the middle of a noise pit/ highly trafficked area, does it matter what the food tastes like? When You can’t even have a conversation with your date? Too many other restaurants in Houston to put up with this nonsense
