The Dining Room is an elevated cuisine experience that overlooks Central Park, with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. We locally source our ingredients from farms within a 150-mile radius of The Met. Entrance to the Museum and The Met Dining Room requires a ticket or Membership card. Window seats can be requested but are not guaranteed.

Loved the experience. Our server was super nice and helpful, we got great recommendations, food came on time and was delicious. We'd definitely go again next time in NYC.

That's a lovely place to take visitors who want to see the Met. It's expensive but worth it, quiet and unhurried with a gorgeous view of the park. You would have to walk far to find another restaurant so why not go here!

It’s always nice to take a break and have lunch in the Met Dining Room. I used to meet up with my father here for lunch and it brings back fond memories.

Beautiful view, excellent server, great menu with grate unique items for main and special fish. Loved it and definitely coming back!

We were a party of four and the food was pretty good. The cheese puffs were hot and nicely flavored. The chicken breast on t gem salad was a bit dry, but nicely flavored. The tuna on guacamole entre was exceptional. The mint ice cream dessert did not taste like mint ice cream and the portion was pretty small for $16.00. Service was attentive and prompt.
