Welcome to The Mick Brasserie! We are a modern interpretation of a French brasserie located in the heart of Scottsdale. Tapas style chef-driven unique cuisine from master chef Brent Menke, 24 craft draft beers, more than 50 wines by the glass, and an extensive wine by the bottle list. Live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-8:30. Special wine dinners almost every Wednesday. Check our web site calendar for event dates.

    We had dined here 2 or 3 years ago and it was good. Now it is OUTSTANDING! Between 4 of us we had 8 small pates. The special duck salad of the day was so good. The focaccia unique dips, , the mushrooms had a fabulous earthy flavor to them. The crab stack creative and the dressing on the cherry tomatoes in the stack was very good. Duck fat roasted potatoes and Beef tartare were very tasty. It's hard to compare everything to what you already have tasted, so our last 2 items were our least favorite, but perhaps we were full by then? the Ribs & flatbread . Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and maybe a bit too explanatory about the wine. ( But better too much info than too little.) It's interesting that we had such a wonderful evening because our first impression was very negative. I had requested indoor seating on the app. When we arrived, the hostess tired to push us onto a patio table (it was cold out, even with heaters). When I said 'no, we requested inside' she made a big huff, took us to our table (3others available inside too) and dropped (threw) our menus down. Not a word about 'enjoy your meal or anything, no eye contact or smile. . She is not doing this place any favors being the first encounter your guests get.

    Amongst three diners, shared Bistro Flatbread tapas appetizer, two entrees (Coq au Vin special, Glazed Pork Ribs, two desserts (Meyer Lemon Creme Brulee, Croissant Bread Pudding) and bottle of house Sebastiani Chardonnay; all great choices! Lovely dining, great food & service (Bryan) & atmosphere; will try patio dining when weather warms up; would heartily recommend.

    Waiter can make or break your dining experience. Ours barely spoke to us. Bill was incorrect. We usually love this restaurant and the staff, but not the last time we were in. Needs low music playing, as well so it’s not so silent inside.

    The Mick is outstanding! Some of the best food in Scottsdale! This chef knows flavors—every dish we had was oozing with flavor. With that said, I would call it International cuisine. It’s too limiting to label it French. The Mick is so much more. They also need to work on the ambience. It’s okay, but needs to be enhanced. TV in the back is unnecessary. Covering up a cool wallpaper scene. Lighting too bright and stark. Still, I highly recommend it to any foodie. I will be returning and bringing friends with me. Love it!!

    Delicious whipped ricotta with a homemade sesame bread, excellent wine & beer selection. Charcuterie board was well chosen. Locally owned, great patio!

    Mick Brasserie never fails to exceed expectations. It’s a great place to share plates or get individual entrees and the Som always provides excellent pairing recommendations. Everyone there is very friendly and flexible with requests and the noise levels allows easy conversation.
