Old Town Scottsdale’s heart beats to a Latin drum at The Mission where renowned Chef Matt Carter (Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox) brings a modern twist to Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America.

Sip a signature margarita with unique flavors such as cucumber jalepeno or aguacate (yes, we said avocado) as you watch your Tableside Guacamole made to your taste from more than a dozen fresh ingredients.

Home made tortillas, and salsas are made fresh daily to accompany an assortment of meats and seafood prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor. And save room for dessert including our pumpkin bread pudding or expresso churros.

The food was excellent. They have a scratch kitchen so there were some interesting dishes. Our family would definitely go back.

Excellent overall - a fusion of Mexican and Peruvian with excellent food. The espresso churros are not to be missed!

Food for five persons were very good with great services and hospitality.We ate our dinner at five pm and the outdoor dining area were pretty dark as there are no ceiling lights but do have small table LED light lamps and under bench lighting. Some of us had hard hard time reading the menus with low lights but was managed somehow. We will go there again with better daylights.

We have only dined at The Mission for dinners but this was our first time for lunch. There will be many more lunch dates there! Beautiful menu, great service, and a bit quieter.

This was our second time ar The Mission. We came back for the fried rice and the smokehouse margarita! Delicious! The pork belly tacos were also fantastic and the guacamole is wonderful!

We enjoyed outstanding service from Paulo. We also enjoyed tableside guacamole, drinks and fabulous food. We enjoyed the house specialties, additional sides, and a delicious pumpkin bread pudding. Honestly everything has always been prepared and plated to perfection. Highly recommend.

The food is always exceptional. The wait staff are professional, attentive and helpful. This is the 2nd time we have been there. Both times were incredible dining experiences.

Great service & food. Various tacos, the filet, guacamole to start and Caesar salad. All very good. Unfortunately tables have been crammed together so not the ambiance you’d expect for this price point.
