Musket Room is a celebrated neighborhood restaurant offering a reliably indulgent experience, whether for a special occasion or enjoying dinner with friends. Since 2013, the Michelin- starred establishment has been committed to the kind of caring, personalized service that makes regulars feel like family and newcomers feel like regulars.

Chef Mary Attea leads a culinary team that draws on their heritages, world travels and personal inclinations to create vivid flavors and inventive dishes that deftly cross borders and defy categorization. The result is transporting food in a warm, refined space with a long bar, intimate nooks and a spacious garden for dining al fresco.

Our Omnivore and Vegan tasting menus are available nightly, with additional a la carte offerings availble nightly at the bar and weekdays in the dining room.

I think if the restaurant is behind and you have to seat your guests 30 minutes late something should be done for them; it’s more about the gesture and not because we were expecting something. Also if the guests did get seated late maybe the service team should be more aware of it and be more attentive from the beginning. Reservation was for 9, got seated at 9:30 and someone finally came to us at 9:45. Food and ambience was fine but service really wasn’t up to par. Also they lost my umbrella and was very casual about it.

The food was good. My husband and I enjoyed two of the three spreads that accompanied the bread appetizer. The gnocchi, duck and rabbit were all good but not dishes we would run back for. Dessert was a big miss. They were out of one of the few offerings and the cheesecake we were able to order had a very unusual and off putting gummy and gritty texture. The service was going ok, but when it came time to pay we were surprised when no one could help us use our InKind app (a dining card they work with) to pay. Not a complete fail but we won’t be returning.

We had received a gift certificate to your lovely restaurant from a cherished relative who knows we are both foodies. We occasionally dine out in Manhattan but have been disappointed with overly precious and pretentious restaurants. We have to admit we were a bit skeptical because your establishment looked so on trend. Boy, were we surprised. Thanks to the supremely gracious wait staff and superb food we were chastened that we had any doubts. We are an older couple and were afraid we would be overlooked for trendier diners. Nothing could be further from the truth. Although the food and presentation were the stars of the show, kudos to our server Vanessa, who made our evening. She was the perfect balance of genuinely friendly and attentive but unobtrusive. It was like dining with friends. The other servers were delightful also. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a dinner out as much. This restaurant certainly has it all together. May you have many more years of success. We will be returning!

Every plate was Absolutely delicious and my husband enjoyed his wine pairing along with the dish. Desserts were also fantastic! Great service, great ambience. Thumbs up all around!

Great tasting menu and meal at lower east side restaurant. Menu features a vegan or meat flight and both were tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients. The kitchen was very accommodating to a food allergy. Great help with a large wine menu by the sommelier. A fun place and we will return again.

Good food, excellent pairing wine, but in my opinion, far from a Michelin star level. Noisy, unexperienced service, two times they came to retire my plate before finishing it, and it was ridiculous than one of the courses was bread with butter…. a complimentary side in all Michelin Star restaurants we have been before.

Awesome food and outstanding service. Winelist is pricey though. But the sommelier made a great suggestion with excellent value for the money.
