Every bit the welcoming country pub you may well be hoping to stumble upon around Bournheath, The Nailers Arms attracts a loyal clientele from Bromsgrove and beyond, drawn by the delicious food (available seven days a week) as well as a wide selection of quality beers, wines and spirits and that welcoming atmosphere only possible in a truly local institution. Phil and Shula Witherford are the passionate couple behind this popular bar and contemporary restaurant on Doctors Hill, a place which is hard to leave without a personal promise to the publican that you’ll be back to get your fill again before too long.

    The staff are fantastic as usual. Very good value carvery with well prepared food in a very clean and well maintained pub. Well worth a visit.

    Quite empty and no roast potatoes ready after we had already had our meat sliced, had to wait ten minutes to cook and go up to collect in a bowl

    We have been to the Nailors a few times and every time we have had a lovely meal. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit

    2nd time here. We had a carvery both times. Not as much meat as last time, however they have a nice selection of carvery veg. Overall, it was very good. We will be returning.

    carvery food wasnt as good as last time we were there.we went here because the 3 previous times the food was alot better than the usual chain brand carvery places.fresh tasty veg more tasty than most,probebly farm fresh not frozen or mass produce cheap veg.today was average,dry veg like it had been standing for ages.i think it opens at 5, we ate at 7.had it been there since 5?so i think next time we will stick to the leading chain brand as its cheaper but no less tasty

    Best carvery I’ve had for a long time Lovely welcoming staff and a nice warm restaurant My only gripe which has put me off a bit and we all commented on was the awful drainage smell in the ladies toilet (this was at beginning of our meal and at the end so was clearly an ongoing issue ) . This really needs sorting out - shame as was so lovely
