Leading Nantucket’s thriving restaurant scene, The Nautilus (est. 2014) is an island staple built on the idea of a shared social experience. Founders Liam Mackey (food), Clinton Terry (drink) & Stephen Bowler’s (wine & business) island-mentality of being “serious about what we do, but not taking ourselves too seriously” perfectly sums up The Nautilus experience. The highly regarded culinary program is a sort of ‘New England coastal cuisine meets Asian & global haute street food’ vibe featuring small plates served tapas style, combined w/ larger group feasts (think Peking inspired duck). The culinary inspired cocktails draw on both seasonal & regional inspirations while the wine & sake list is recognized as a “Best Of” by Wine Spectator.     Delicious as always! A few new items on the menu since the last time we were there that were delicious (eggplant, lettuce wraps). And of course the standards that we love (oyster tacos, blue crab fried rice) - they never disappoint. The almost naked and famous is the best drink anywhere! Great service, great atmosphere. Love this spot!!

    Amazing, friendly service. Unique and very tasty food. Atmosphere is lively, a little loud as tables are quite close together. Highly recommended dining here if you are visiting Nantucket.

    Most fave restaurant ever!!! Nautilus is a special place. The most talented chef and the most incredibly friendly staff...from the front of the house to the bar to the kitchen. There's no other place we'd rather be!

    We were so excited to experience dinner at Nautilus but at the end of the night EXTREMELY disappointed. First, our server was not friendly or welcoming. While the decor is “cool” it’s not very comfortable. We had three small plates and two large plates to share, so a fair sampling of the menu. The chef/menu tried TOO hard to be unique. In the end the dishes felt contrived and definitely not with the $250+ tab at the end. 4% gratuity auto added to the bill as a ? kitchen fee. Will not be going back.
