Join us for the very best of modern British dining looking out over Cheltenham's newest, iconic and timeless vista.

The Nook On Five uses produce from the best butchers, fishmongers, grocers, creameries, distilleries and vineyards to create dishes and experiences both fun and fine.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, take in mouth-watering bites overlooking the Cotswolds and the rooftops of Montpellier.

Headed up by Alisha Phillpotts, the kitchen carefully selects the finest produce to cook up a refined evening à la carte menu, alongside a fab lunch and all day menu of modern British classics and twists.

The bar and cellar offers an extensive English section to our wine list and serve up some fantastic cocktails which you can take out to our rooftop terrace.

    Enjoy afternoon tea with us at the Nook. We freshly prepare our cakes, scones and sandwiches every day. We tend to always have a Macaron, a chocolate and a sponge. Allergies & Dietaries- Please let us know of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance of your booking. Because we make everything fresh we need to make tailored products in advance. If we do not get this in advance, accommodating your requirements could take up to 1 hour from the time you arrive as we will be baking those cakes fresh for you on the day.

    Enjoy the ultimate Chef's Table experience with a 7 course Tasting Menu including wine pairing and interactions with our chefs about each course. Your group will be completely private from the restaurant so you can enjoy exclusive dining in our Private Dining Room with a recommended maximum of 10 guests. £1000 minimum spend required at the point of booking. We require at least 1 week's notice period. OpenTable does not enable us to monitor this. Therefore, if you are booking within this timeframe your booking may be cancelled and your £1000 deposit will be returned to you. If you are booking within this time frame, we'd prefer you contact our Bookings Team immediately on 01242 650948 or email bookings@thenookcheltenham.co.uk.

    The Nook is a lovely venue, the waiter, although polite did not assist with our orders so our mains had no sides, very small portions with average presentation , no wine just 2 single drinks each , left disappointed and hungry & £180 less , expected much more, will not recommend or return . I get no pleasure from writing a negative review.

    The experience of the afternoon tea was really good from start to finish. First visit to the nook and I was impressed with the layout of the venue and the relaxed atmosphere. Great views across Cheltenham, comfortable chairs and a really good selection of food for the afternoon tea. The service was impeccable and the selection and quality of drinks were very good. I will definitely be booking to come again for afternoon tea and lunch with family and friends.

    Everything was perfect, tasty, and all around great. Quiet jazz music in the background really finishes it off. And my special request was catered to exactly! 10/10 would 100% recommend to anyone without a second thought!

    WOW - what fabulous meals we all had. The service was amazing and the staff friendly, smiling and attentive. Will recommend The Nook on 5 to anyone who wants to know. We will be back.

    I have been to this restaurant 3 times and for me it is the best place in Cheltenham so far. Every time I try different dishes they are wonderful, my last visit to the restaurant was on January 7th and I was a little disappointed, the location is wonderful, the staff are professionally trained, the interior is laconic, but my dishes did not bring me pleasure this time! The shrimp cocktail salad had wilted greens, they changed it for me but the second option was not better (the lettuce legs had a reddish tint, which indicates that the salad has been stored for 3-5 days already) this is not acceptable in a restaurant of this level. The second course was beef cheeks with mashed potatoes. The degree of roasting of the meat corresponded to the order and the texture was tender, but the bitter taste of the fried crust on top prevented me from enjoying the meat (it seemed to me that the upper part of the meat was overcooked). And so the last visit to the restaurant did not bring me pleasure from the food, but we had fun and we had a good time!
