Spicy Rigatoni, Smash Burger, Steak Sandwich and the Tuna Tartar appetizer all were fantastic. Reasonable prices on drinks too! We will be back! Even the bread and butter were great

Our second visit to Oak House and have only good things to say. Ambiance is warm and comfortable but a bit noisy especially with diners with screaming kids. I’m all for taking out your kids but not about ignoring their bad behavior. Portions are huge especially salads there is enough to share with 3 or 4 people! Food is well prepared and fresh ingredients make the difference. It’s more upscale pub type food, we enjoyed the burger, ribs, salmon and salads. It’s comparable to Houston’s if you enjoy eating there (which we do!). Service was great very attentive I believe his name was Tracey. Will definitely return.

We went to celebrate our special day (birthday- specified in the reservation) during the last week of 2024. The hostess (and 3 other people who acted as hosts.) us wait 20mins (with reservation?) for a two people table until a couple left. When we got there there was an empty two seater tables already available next to it but had us wait for a staff to clean THAT table next to the restroom. lol no common sense whatsoever. There were so many 4 seater tables empty even until we were done dining and left. - FYI. The shrimp risotto tasted nothing like a risotto. It didn’t taste very good either. maybe they should lose a few ingredients that are constantly working against each other. I was recommended by a few locals in the area - I don’t think I will return here as the service we received was underwhelming.

As close to fine dining without the insane prices in a beautiful neighborhood setting. Great service from the time we valeted our car, to being greeted as we walked through the door. Our server was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I had the braised short ribs which was fork tender and hubs had the hangar steak… both 10/10.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into a friendly atmosphere. After being promptly seated in a roomy table for our 5, Tray, our waiter introduced himself. He was friendly, listened well and was professional in taking orders, addressing questions and making us comfortable. He was attentive without hovering or rushing us. The food was amazing. It was my 2nd visit and my visiting friends absolutely loved it and want to come back. Thank you! The food & Tray made it great!

We had a wonderful meal on Christmas Eve. We were a little worried that the restaurant would be overcrowded and that the quality of the food would suffer and we were pleasantly surprised. We sat comfortably, had fantastic service and a delicious meal.

Been here a few times the food is always mid which is fine I feel like you go for the atmosphere. This time the parking was completely impossible and we had to park far & walk. The food was fine but not worth it for the price and parking unless this restaurant is specifically convenient to visit.

We had the most amazing night here! The bar was packed (as it deserves to be) and our bartender/server Chris was so great. He was doing a lot alone and was so quick and kind. Could not recommend this place more!! And if you have Chris you are in great hands!
