Now taking reservations on Thursday nights only to our second floor dining room. All other nights and main floor of restaurant are first come, first served.

Inspired from the traditions of Wisconsin taverns and supper clubs,
The Old Fashioned was created to pay tribute to the foods and spirits
that make Wisconsin famous. Where Wisconsin is King!

All reservations are for our second floor Rendezvous room. The lower level of the restaurant is first come, first served. Meaning if you can not obtain a reservation upstairs, we have plenty of room if come in and obtain a table. If you are looking for a place to have an Old Fashioned or a great Wisconsin Beer we have 2 bars, equaling over 80 ft. of space for you to cozy up to.

My husband and I went here after making a reservation. We were seated right away. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and those came at a good time. However, after ordering our food it took a lomg while to get to our table. When we asked our waiter what was taking so long, he admitted that he forgot to put in our food. When it finally came we had to ask for the check right away since we were seeing a performance at the Overture Center. The mac and cheese was really good, it is what I always get at the Taste of Madison. I just wish my husband and I had more time to enjoy our food.
