Established in the historic old capital of Aruba, Savaneta, The Old Man & The Sea Restaurant is the ideal place for a romantic dinner.

The cuisine is a mixture of local dishes with an international flare. We pride ourselves on having fresh catches of the day and good quality meats imported from the best distributors in the world.

Kindly know that our resort & restaurant is Adult only (21+).

Beautiful location, very well designed to have a private dinner while still surrounded by perfectly lit tables, trees, and beachfront. The service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food came out cold, and not particularly special. For the price being paid, high expectations for the food should be met. They were not. It was also a difficult location to get into as a rain shower had passed and there wasn’t drainage in the parking lot, so we had to walk thru and around water and mud. The place has the potential to be one of the best, but the kitchen chef/staff needs work.

Unique dining experience. Intimate and romantic. A bit far to travel from the Hilton. Had some trouble getting a cab there and bac, but overall, the experience was worth the effort

This place was amazing & romantic feel to it. It was definitely a nice experience & will come again. Food was delicious & our host a female from Venezuela was amazing very attentive.

Amazing nothing can describe the magic this place brings to your heart and soul !!!!! Food was amazing as usual been here 5x it keeps getting better gotta hit lottery so I can stay here next time

What a fantastic place for a meal. Absolutely unique and beautiful. A special shout out to our server Antonio, who went far above and beyond to accommodate us and help us have a really great, relaxing time there!

Old Man in the Sea was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Aruba. It's perfect for couples who are celebrating a special occasion. The food was fantastic and the ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful. You must experience it once!

The ambiance was 5 stars… that’s about the only good thing I have to say. Took nearly 20 minutes to get our drinks after they were ordered and the restaurant was pretty dead at the time. The manager also kept standing on the bridge connecting to where we sat from the beach and was watching videos on his phone that we could hear. The food arrived and my husbands meat was overcooked, they brought me the wrong meal and so both meals were sent back and the manager never once approached us to apologize or anything. We didn’t complain to the manager once as we both felt like he did not care. The food brought out the second time was not good… the lobster was very overcooked and chewy, steak and lamb didn’t have much flavor. Service all night was very slow and not what I would expect at a restaurant like this. Not worth the hype. This is the only restaurant we went to all week that I would tell someone to not go to. Very disappointed as I had better expectations for my birthday dinner! :(

Incredible experience! My boyfriend and I recommend this place to anyone that is interested in visiting Aruba. This restaurant was the highlight of our Aruba trip. We dined outside of one of the cabanas that was right on the water. Everything was amazing - the service, the food, and most notably the impeccable view and ambiance. I highly suggest that everyone dine here at least once. I can't wait to go back!
