Every dish we prepare in The Old Stone House Restaurant Roscommon is cooked from scratch using the freshest, local and organic (where possible) ingredients. Cooking is our passion and customer satisfaction is what drives us. We are very proud to say that The Old Stone House is one of the best restaurants Roscommon has to offer.     Beautiful restaurant and lovely food but it was a 40th birthday celebration and we were not allowed to eat the birthday cake we brought with us! Apparently it’s not allowed and if I was made aware of this when booking we would not have organised the cake! I found this very unusual practice and we were disappointed that we were only informed when we arrived at the restaurant!

    Very happy with the service from all the staff. Who very very friendly and attentive. We were very impressed that even though venison was on the menu as a special we were advised that the chef wasn't happy with it because it was too tough and wouldn't serve it. That says alot about their pride in attention to detail.

    We Truly enjoyed our 3 course meal , Our steak and venison were cooked to perfection . we would highly recommend The Old Stonehouse restaurant Roscommon for the food and atmosphere . 5 stars
