   Tuesday evening so the place was quiet and relaxed. My friend and I sat in the back and the noise level was good for conversation. The service was excellent and very friendly - we weren’t rushed even though we were last people there. Cocktails were delicious. Food was not exceptional but the servings were substantial (my friend took half her chicken millanaise to go). Will definitely return.

   Thanks for a great late lunch. Server was friendly and attentive. The steak au poive was delicious and the fries perfectly warm.

   We used to dine at Orchard Townhouse often and always found the food really good. We hadn’t been there for over a year and were surprised to see the more limited menu but still found dishes that seemed interesting. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed with our choices except for the black bass crudo which was quite good. My New England clam chowder was inedible even though I was really hungry. I tried to find a clam and couldn’t . I was surprised the server never asked how we were doing. He didn’t even notice that I had barely touched my clam chowder. My dining partner’s steak looked great but he said it was tasteless. His fries were limp. Wish we could have had a better experience because we live in the neighborhood.
