Located in the charming beach town of Gearhart, OR - possibly best known for being the summer home & final resting place of James Beard, the godfather of American fine dining, The Pacific Way is located in a history filled 1929 building. Depending on the coastal weather, you may chose a cozy space indoors, warm by a fire or dine in our covered dog friendly patio. Our menu is farm-to-table, changes based on what is fresh from the farms this week & our culinary team offers chalkboard menu items regularly. You'll find our menu is seafood forward, but it is worth noting there's always something special on deck for the vegetarian and carnivore in the group. For the latest information on our menus, please see our website: www.pacificwaycafe.com.

We recommend making reservations for dinner (Thu-Sun, 4-8p) but accept walk-ins when we can.

Excellent restaurant in every respect; food, service, decor, you name it. This is a genuine diamond in the rough. I will never understand how a small town restaurant can find such talented kitchen staff. Pretty amazing. You won't be disappointed.

We had a beautiful experience with the “epic” tasting menu! Allen, one of the owners, made an effort to create a custom wine tasting experience. He didn’t have to do that, but it made the meals so much more special. The food was absolutely excellent: well seasoned, well cooked, and the presentation was beautiful. We were really pleased with the value and the quality of the ingredients. The wines were excellent and were paired with an expertise that is unusual with all but the best restaurants. Very nicely done.

Food, service and ambiance were excellent. This was our second time dining at The Pacific Way and my husband and I highly recommend this cozy little restaurant in Gearhart. Looking forward to returning.

This is honestly a very unique and amazing restaurant. The food was spectacular and the chef himself brought many dishes to us and made it an even more special experience. If in Gearhart area, don't miss dining here.

It was our 20th anniversary and they went above and beyond our expectations for us! We had the Chef Trevor’s tasting menu and every dish was outstanding from the homemade focacia with sesame oil, stone fruit and tomato salad, scallop sishimi, crab and shrimp cakes with red cabbage, salmon belly and Madeline’s with berries for dessert. All were beautifully presented and full of great flavors. Best restaurant in the area.

We always enjoy The Pacific Way when we are in Gearhart. The menu has become even more creative this year. Staff were attentive as always. Al in all, it was a great experience.
