The Park Bistro & Bar showcases only the freshest, local and organically grown produce as well as naturally raised meats and line-caught fish. Executive Chef Rodrigo Alvarez has created an approachable, yet inventive menu, presenting a French twist on American fare. With a wholesome and earthy quality, many dishes elevate “comfort” food. Natural light from the romantic inner fountain courtyard, intimate alcoves, a large communal table and versatile private dining spaces. Rustic stone floors, natural wood tables, leather seating and an original art program create a warm and inviting, yet grand and inspiring, space that will create the most memorable dining experience in Lafayette. Reservations are for can be made for The Park Bistro or The Park Bar.

We celebrate New Years annually at lunch at a special venue. Park Bistro was our choice this year. Unfortunately, our 1:15 reservation for a window booth did not work as the folks in those seats stayed until 2pm and later. Oh well. Hostess was very accommodating but it was clear that folks were enjoying and not eager to leave quickly. Chicken wrap was tasty ( modified nicely without bacon or onions) Butter pecan ice cream was a tasty discovery

We were so excited to try your restaurant out on December 30th, 2024. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The service was abrupt, curse and extremely non personal. No eye contact, no "good evening," no introductions. This applies to the hostesses and servers (at least 3 different people swooped in and out from our table). All of the staff seemed rushed and in their own heads. When we find a place like The Park, we expect a "dining" experience. No just obligatory carrying out services. We understand this was a busy night, but part of the staff's whole job should be grace under pressure. We did not feel that they had been trained in this at all. We specified with our reservation that it was our anniversary. No one even acknowledged this special occasion. The menus, water, drinks, and food were pretty much slammed on the table as the staff rushed by. It did not live up to a special evening. We hope this helps you to improve and do better. However, we will most likely never know, as we do not plan on returning. Jon Stockton

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience. The serivce, if you can call it that, was pretty much non existent. It took them at least 15 minutes just to get water on the table. That pretty much sent the tone for the evening. They screwed up our drink order, once they finally arrived. It then took them another 15 minutes to straighten that out. Eventually, our waiter came by to take our app order only to disappear again for about 45 minutes untl after we finished our salads to take out entry order. We never saw her again. I had to flag down a waiter waiting on a different table to get our bill and he actually handled it from there. As we were walking out the door, our waiter finally showed up....The food was mediocre at best. The ceasar salad was watery and lacked much flavor. However, the crab cakes were actually pretty good...

Food was terrific, wait staff terrific, nice holiday atmosphere and easy parking. All great for a high quality family dining experience. The downside is we were there 3 hours as it took about an hour after first course salads and sides to get the main course, then a long time for desert. Happily since salads and sides came fairly quickly we were not starving and no one was in a hurry. They were not packed, a bit busy. My guess is they are short kitchen staffing.

I had a reservation at 10am for my mothers birthday the day after Christmas, upon arriving the hostess was not that friendly, and as she sat us down she told us "you better hurry up and get your order in we close the kitchen at 10:30am" and I am thinking to myself, why in the hell did you take my reservation if you are going to rush me out of here, literally almost walked out, but wasn't going to let a rude hostess ruin my day. It reminded me the last time I was there, an old man was kind of curt, this Hotel really needs to find better help. Nothing worse then having people with attitudes serve you.

We chose The Park Bistro for our Christmas Eve dinner, looking forward to a festive and enjoyable family meal. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be chaotic and disappointing. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, rushing between tables and even yelling at customers who tried to place orders. I’ve never encountered such poor treatment before. Our waitress was openly rude and even yelled at me when I hesitated to answer her question about how I wanted my salmon cooked. Despite being aware of the negative reviews about their service, I had hoped our experience would be different. Sadly, it was even worse than the reviews suggested. I would not return.

A solid location for our annual dinner. Food was much better than my family and I were anticipating. Great drinks. Ample parking with garage, lot and street options.

We had a great table for 4 in the corner. Unfortunately, our server wasn’t that friendly. Seemed annoyed we were there. And this was before we had to send two cocktails back because they weren’t correct. That wasn’t her problem, but she wasn’t happy with us sending them back. And we waited nearly 1/2 hour to get our drinks. We had a good dinner, but unfortunately our server just wasn’t very friendly.
