Situated in the bustling heart of Dupont Circle is The Pembroke, a sophisticated dining destination. Featuring contemporary American fare with global influences, The Washington Post’s food critic Tom Sietsema described the experience as “cut from a different cloth." The Pembroke’s stunning design by Martin Brudnizki features plush velvet coral-toned banquettes around glossy marble tables, cream-paneled walls with playful artwork, and boasts panoramic views of the neighborhood, while a seasonal terrace offers al fresco dining from spring to fall. The marble-topped bar is a bright and airy nod to cocktail bars of the 1950s and features classic drinks with a twist and a selection of fine wines. Sunday Supper - Community Table

Join us on the first Sunday of each month for our Sunday Supper series! Parties who book this option will be seated with fellow diners, creating a warm atmosphere to form new connections. On the first Sunday of the month, the culinary team at The Pembroke will visit the renowned Dupont Circle Farmers Market to hand-pick fresh, seasonal ingredients. That evening's menu will feature a selection of treasured family recipes from one of The Pembroke’s talented chefs, blending tradition with innovation, and celebrating the cultural diversity of the team. On February 2, Chef Christian Welch and Food & Beverage Director Krystle Hewitt will present a soul food-inspired feast in honor of Black History Month. $60 per adult and $30 per child.

Excellent food and decor. The service was really slow and quite confusing. Lots of language barriers. And we had to ask multiplier for simple items like bread and Diet Coke. It took almost 25 minutes to get our drinks prior to to appetizer. More server and timing training is needed. Cocktails must be served before appetizer. Otherwise. Excellent all around.

The cost is very reasonable for the quality of food. Besides the restaurant being absolutely gorgeous and the food delicious, the service is the standout for sure. They use your name when seating you and serving you. We went for brunch to celebrate my friends birthday and they provided us complimentary dessert with a candle and chocolate, it was so personal.

Another perfect experience with friends, at our table and in the restaurant. We are always so happy to bring new friends to the restaurant. They commented that the restaurant was so full-service. Thanks Michele, Eric, DeShawn, and Kimberly (who was holding down the front desk alone for a little while). Kim's greetings always make us feel great when we arrive.

I celebrated my 25th birthday here. I wanted to celebrate in a nice restaurant with an ambiance, and I saw The Pembroke. I made reservations, and by the time my friends and I arrived our table was ready. I forgot the waiter's name, but he was so nice and provided excellent service. The ambiance was perfect. This was the best first birthday dinner ever. Thank you to the cooks, waiters, and the owner. <3

Went on a lunch date with my wife and this was our first time at The Pembroke. The ambiance was fantastic. The service was second to none! We received customer service during our lunch that barely exists these days. They treated us as long time valued customers. The food, while on the expensive side, was phenomenal. We will be back again.
