Featuring contemporary American fare with global influences, The Washington Post’s food critic Tom Sietsema described the experience as “cut from a different cloth." The Pembroke’s stunning design by Martin Brudnizki features plush velvet coral-toned banquettes around glossy marble tables, cream-paneled walls with playful artwork, and boasts panoramic views of the neighborhood, while a seasonal terrace offers al fresco dining from spring to fall. Our server was sensational, anticipated our need and made great recommendations. The food was excellent, most all items made from scratch and were delicious, the chef obviously takes pride in all dishes, they are done to perfection. Will be back again for several future Sunday brunch's.

Good food, very good service, and the entire dinner experience was quite pleasant. We felt, however, that the prices were too high for what we were getting.

The lobster dish was amazing! So tasty and prepared well. One of the best lobster dishes hands down. The oyster appetizer was pretty good. Their bread appetizer wasn't all that it was chalked up to be. The crab appetizer was also pretty good.

What a great lunch we had at the Pembroke! I had told the restaurant when they called to confirm that this was a Book Club outing - there were 7 of us. They gave us a perfect quiet table which was quite lovely. Excellent food and fantastic service from everyone, especially Michele. Just a perfect afternoon. Thanks, Pembroke!
