                    All my party of ten really enjoyed the food and the experience at the Pickled Sprout. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. The waiters were competent and polite. I reduced the service to 4 stars because we had to wait a while to order and we were hungry. Some nibbles would have been welcome.

                    The food was lovely and well presented. The bar/restaurant is cozy with alcoves so although it’s quite big it’s not overwhelming. Unfortunately I was sat at a raised (semi bar height) table and chair which wasn’t comfortable as I’m quite short. Service was attentive for ordering but difficult to obtain otherwise.

                    Great menu choice, food delicious staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely go again. If you stay in the hotel you get 20% discount off the bill

                    My first experience with more traditional English food. Hearty and filling for one person. Tasty and nicely presented. Would order two dishes instead of three next time. Warm and friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Love the restaurant's name. ☺️

                    Rose prosecco was nice, but there was NOTHING we fancied from the main menu - esp. little vegetarian. The waiters were very nice, but we left & went to The Ivy...

                    Lovely meal beautifully prepared and presented in a friendly convivial atmosphere. We ordered the Sunday dinner roast beef as a main and it was brilliant that we were able to have it rare for myself and well done for my wife. The beef was succulent and the accompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked. All in all a lovely experience.

                    Felt it was difficult to have a conversation with the people i dined with. As it was quite loud from the speakers. Food was really good, service was great just felt it could have been put a bit more politely when asked to leave our reserved table after less than 2hours due to another booking.
