   Alicia and Theresa are by far the best servers you could possibly ask for in this world. Everyone is so pleasant and friendly. Yet these two ladies make the experience even better. Foods amazing as well.

   Beautiful little restaurant, wonderful service, & great ambience. The only area that has room for improvement is the food. I was expecting good food for the price.

   Went for breakfast and Everything was delicious except for the cappuccinos. 2nd time I’ve tried and they serve more like Lattes not Cappuccinos, it’s minor but their regular coffee is perfect! . Other than that service, food, location and ambience is excellent!

   The food, service, and drinks were amazing. Our server Stuart was wonderful. He was so attentive , we look forward to coming back, the sea bass was the best we had. Sangria is not to be missed

   I invited a friend to lunch, she had never been there and I was telling her how great it was. We were immediately greeted by a young lady with dark hair who asked us what our water preferences were, if we had any food allergies, and if we wanted bread for the table. Manny came shortly thereafter and was amazing as always. I had the burger, and my friend had the quiche trio. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Alex took over for Manny and was very helpful as well. He offered us dessert but chose to have a cappuccino instead. As always, I leave the pony room planning my next visit.

   It pains me to write this review, because we have been regulars for years. So much so that we continued to order takeout during COVID, but the food has been going down in quality in the last few years. I don’t know why the Pony Room doesn’t understand that chicken breast is more popular and appropriate for a pasta dish, but they continue to substitute cheaper dark meat into all their dishes. For more than a year they specified chicken breast enchiladas, which continually had dark meat. This was definitely an issue with the kitchen, as over time the servers would roll their eyes when asked if it was truly chicken breast. Customers must have returned it enough times that after multiple reprinting of the menu they finally changed the menu rather than use higher quality chicken. Tonight the pasta was cold and the truffle fries were way overcooked yet soggy. Also, what happened to the chocolates after dinner; for $200 for two people the chocolates was a nice touch. It’s a shame because we love Gustavo, the other bartenders and the servers.

   Amazing food, service and ambiance as usual. One of our very favorite places in truly the most magical setting in San Diego. The focaccia with whipped ricotta and honey is too die for! The sea bass is also amazing as are the cocktails. A favorite for sure!
