   The most delicious food we have eaten in a long time. Superb choice, even on the gluten free menu. Sadly some items had sold out as it was a busy weekend, but our choices did not disappoint. Pricier than some other local restaurants, but well worth it for the quality and freshness of the food. Staff were great.

   Amazing Sunday lunch. Pork was delicious as was my husbands Hake. As usual Jay and his cohorts were very attentive, nothing too much trouble.

   We opted fot the set menu and what a good decision that was. Our meals were absolutely sumptuous! Full of different flavours and with very attentive service. Best meal wd have had in the PL and we been many times before. 1st class!! Thank you to thd chefs and service team.

From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as I had planned—a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the table and a chilled bottle of Cloudy Bay waiting as a surprise for my wife. It was a seamless and thoughtful touch that set the tone for a truly special evening. The service was exceptional, with the staff making us feel welcome and ensuring every detail was perfect. The food? Absolutely outstanding—fresh, beautifully cooked seafood that showcased the best of what The Potted Lobster is known for. Every dish was a delight, and the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and inviting. A huge thank you to the team for making our celebration so memorable.
