    Join us at the Potted Lobster for our Game Tasting Evening. The 6 course tasting menu will be focusing on seasonal game, sourced from neighbouring estates and farms, using traditional and modern cooking techniques to give you a delicious dining experience. For further indulgence why not upgrade to our wine pairing package and enjoy perfectly paired wine with decadent smells, tastes, and flavours to match to each course. Our Game tasting evening is running on Thursday 21st November 7pm onwards, and on Thursday 6th February.

The 5 course tasting menu will be focusing on seasonal Fish and Meat, sourced from neighbouring estates, farms, and fisheries, using traditional and modern cooking techniques to give you a delicious dining experience. Our Wine tasting evening is running on Thursday 6th March 2025.

    Potted seafood was not good not properly prepared. Anything fried just tasted of old cooking oil. Steak tough dry and not cooked to order. when this was brought to chefs attention we were told ‘that’s how a medium rare steak is cooked ‘ having eaten approximately 2600 medium rare steaks in his life my friend was not impressed. Halibut was dry and over cooked and don’t expect frozen chips for £34. Other two fish dishes fine staff really lovely and respectful. Really disappointing

    Rather disappointed with the whole experience. Staff not very friendly and no one pointed out the specials boards even when we were about to order, we then had to take photos of the board so we could read it. Meal meiocre to say the least and for the prices that are being charged it was not nearly up to scratch.
