THE INN
The Print House is a cosy, friendly 16th Century Inn with six newly refurbished bedrooms with quirky boho decor.
Situated in the medieval town of Tenterden, known as the Jewel of the Weald, with its historic buildings and wealth of Independent Shops, Steam Trains, Chapel Down and Gusbourne Vineyards within close proximity..

INSIDE THE INN
The Bar/ Restaurant serves Contemporary English Cuisine with a Twist to enjoy with the many wines and beers on tap. The Caxton Lounge with deep velvet sofas, cosy chairs and wood burning stove is where to indulge in coffee, home made cakes and/or take afternoon tea on those chilly days. There is a walled garden to enjoy.

Our Chef Martin Elliot is well known for his flair for British Cuisine with a twist of something a just little different. Our ingredients are fresh and local as possible. We use free-range produce and seek out top-quality meat, fish and vegetables from our local butchers, fishmongers,

I came with 8 members of my family, including my 2 year old grandson, for a pre-Christmas meal and was so impressed by the attention of the team ensuring little one was happy which made a good time for all of us. The food was excellent in a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!

Sadly the food was well below the quality we expect from the Print House. We had loin of pork. The meat was plentiful and ok but was cold, the roast potatoes were lamentable - hard, tasteless undercooked. The vegetables were adequate. The starter and dessert were acceptable but were let down by the main, especially the roast potatoes. Shame, and not a cheap meal. Must do better.

Stylish space with comfortable seating. Not noisy even when at capacity. Good food and drink and friendly prompt service. Recommend.

Lovely venue, lovely staff, the young blond lad (apologies I don’t get his name but he was new) was particularly great. Well done that man!

Interiors colourful and comfortable. Excellent waiter who brought us our drinks by the fire. Female manager/ owner perhaps a little too attentive- flapping about lighting, smoke from fire, could she take a chair etc etc...we were just there to relax! Plus not ideal having a staff meeting right behind us on a Friday eve in the dining room. Food ok- not sure we'd return though. Shame-we had had high hopes!

Went to the Print House on recommendation and wasn’t disappointed at all. Lovely welcome and really enjoyed the ambience. Food was really tasty and promptly served. Staff with personalities was a real bonus. We’ll be back for sure. A welcome addition to Tenterden 👍

Booked late Sunday lunch. Our first visit & we weren’t disappointed. Food well cooked & presented & delicious. Tableware attractive with nice wine glasses. Staff were very attentive. A lively atmosphere with live music. We will be returning.
