Welcome to The Queens Inn.
A stylish pub, restaurant and hotel with a wood-burning fireplace, as well as a beer garden, a deep history of smugglers and a Georgian ballroom.
Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are combined, expertly cooked and served in our stylish, yet welcoming surroundings. Our meals are our pride and joy. We have a passion for creating a complete dining experience. We take the time to prepare our food from wholesome produce for our guests - no fast food, no corner cutting and are confident you’ll find it well worth waiting for.
Our menus show flair and imagination; never sacrificing taste and satisfaction. Our chef is committed to supporting local businesses and produce: Moon’s Green, Wealden Smokery, Park Farm butchers, Maws Fine Foods-Hawkhurst, Bodiam ice-cream to name but a few.

My second visit to the Queen's Inn and it really lived up to expectations. Delicious roast beef with freshly cooked vegetables. Puddings were great too. Service efficient and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend!

Stunning historical building. Inside, it has been modernised yet retains its charm and character. Super menu choices. Food excellent and well-presented. Friendly, attentive staff. Plenty of car parking. Definitely a place we'll return to.

The food was well cooked, well presented and delicious; and the service was attentive without making us feel rushed in any way. The only disappointment was that despite booking an early evening table, when we arrived, there were already three dishes that were unavailable, we were informed about these at the outset but then after ordering, we were advised that one our choices had also become unavailable. Being a Saturday night, it was surprising that there so many items were sold out, especially something as popular as a chicken burger!

This was the fourth time having dinner at Queen’s Inn and wasn’t disappointed .Staff are very friendly food freshly cooked.

The food was expensive for what you get. I ordered Tiger prawns as a starter and got 4 small (definitely not tiger) prawns with a few blobs of sauce for £11. My wife and I both ordered the pork ribs for the main…no bones in the meat at all and it was very fatty, so I assume it was just pork belly in an average bbq sauce for £23 each. I’ve had better ribs at a chain restaurant for a lot less money. The staff were nice and the atmosphere was pleasant but I wouldn’t recommend the food.

Very nice meal with my husband and two young children. Great beef roast and the children's food is really good quality (like small adults, not cheap and cheerful). Great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

Haven’t been here for a few years. The place was busy and the staff were friendly and efficient My steak was delicious! Would definitely use more often.
