Hello Friends,

We look forward to welcoming you to The Raymond 1886. Please make reservations online or by calling the restaurant on 626-441-3136. If you have any special requests please note we will do our very best to accommodate however we cannot guarantee them. We have both outdoor seating in our wonderful patio spaces and indoor tables in the beautiful cottage and bar.

Bar 1886 is open Sun-Thursday until 9pm and Friday - Saturday until 11pm. Walk-in welcome!

Make this Thanksgiving truly special at The Raymond 1886. Immerse yourselves in the charm of our historic estate while enjoying a feast that delights the senses. Our culinary team has curated a menu that honors tradition while embracing fresh, seasonal flavors. Seating is available from 11am to 7pm. Adults $99, children 10 & under $49 (3 & under are our guests). A credit card is required to reserve your table. We will call you to confirm your menu selections, so please provide a valid phone number when booking. Don't forget to check out our special Thanksgiving cancellation policy. This was our first time dining at The Raymond. My husband and I made a reservation for brunch. The reservation was for 2 people. The hostess sat us at a 4 person table. Halfway through our meal the waitress came over with another couple, interrupted our conversation and asked if she could sit them with us. We must have looked as shocked and uncomfortable as we felt, because before we could reply the other couple asked her if they could sit elsewhere and she obliged. We finished our meal and asked for a dessert menu. Before we had a chance to order dessert, a group of 3 women came and sat at our table with us. Not only that, I actually had to get up out of my chair to let one of the women pass behind me to get to the seat. It was extremely uncomfortable to have our date/private conversation overtaken by strangers, and we decided to leave instead of ordering dessert. Although the food was good and the atmosphere was cute, this practice of forcing customers to share a table especially when we had a reservation was enough to deter us from ever coming back. We felt disrespected paying so much for inconsiderate service.

Wonderful ambience - feels like you’re in a cozy (but classy) old home. Service was wonderful. All the food was delicious, and the cocktails are unique and very good. So far, I’ve only been with larger groups of family, but I’d love to come back for a romantic dinner.

Ever since this restaurant was taken over by a larger company, it has undergone noticeable changes—and not for the better. What once was a charming and inviting establishment with outstanding food has now lost much of its appeal. The menu offerings feel mediocre at best, lacking the vibrant flavors and quality they used to have. While the service is adequate, the staff has changed, and the warm, personal touch that once defined the experience is missing. I truly wish it could return to the exceptional standards and ambiance it once had.

Great little spot, but there was an issue with a burger we ordered which we asked for "well done" but it came out at Medium temperature and when I addressed the issue with our server, she seemed bothered. The other items we got were okay except for the waffles & pancakes which we enjoyed.

We had a party of 10 celebrating three birthdays, all family. The service could not have been better and the food was absolutely wonderful. a beautiful afternoon was had by all !!

Everything was amazing! The K-Town chicken wings are a must, as well as the bread and butter. The mac n cheese was piping hot and everyone enjoyed their meal! Our server (I think his name was Randy) was AWESOME!! He is also there for Sunday brunch.

Went to The Raymond for my birthday. It is a top restaurant in Pasadena. It is a great place. An old craftsman style home that was converted to a restaurant. I made reservations. We were seated very quickly and water and coffee were Ordered. We did the regular drip. It was the worst coffee I have ever had. The young man that served the drinks and cleaned up the dishes was great. Our server wasn’t very impressive. She was a little impersonal, too proper. They were good about filling up the water. When we let her know the coffee was bitter and extremely strong, she just said “Oh”. Nothing else. Not the response I was expecting. The food was amazing!!! Quickly out. We had the chilaquiles, short rib tacos and eggs Benedict. They were all delicious. Best part of the day. And the Apple coffee cake is a must do. Very very good. It would have been outstanding if the waitress was more personable and caring. I will be returning. Next time I want to sit on the patio. Very cute place.

I have been to the Raymond restaurant many times. The food first and foremost is consistently good, and the ambience and atmosphere is cozy and warm inside. The patio is nice as well, and you’re welcome to bring your dog. The staff are all very nice and welcoming.

Our server was very good. The ambiance is extremely dark, and definitely disliked the music. The electronic drum beat background with every song was obnoxious. They did serve my husband a delicious free dessert in honor of his birthday. Food was quite good. Overall, except for the percussion, we had an enjoyable time.
